Contipro Group s.r.o

The name Contipro appeared on the Czech market in 1990, when the company was founded by Vladimír Velebný and Petr Pinkas, who are now the co-owners of the whole holding. The holding, Contipro Group, covers three companies employing a total of 117 employees. The narrow specialization of the individual companies means the holding is a flexible body that can operate to high professional standards while concentrating on further growth. Thanks to this strategy, Contipro Group has been able to assume a leading position in the production of hyaluronan of all levels of purity, including the top quality designed for sterile injection preparations. Having managed to build up its own distribution network for all its products (active substances and pharmaceutical products), the company is able to export 99% of total output to 40 countries in all the continents. At present, it controls 60% of the European and 30% of the world market in hyaluronan.
