Research in hybrid materials has experienced considerable growth in recent years with increasing interest from a wide range of industries. This inaugural meeting aims to bring together experts from the various sub-disciplines to share current research and create an interdisciplinary forum for discussion.

Abstracts are invited by 15 September 2008 for oral and poster presentations on the following topics:

Biohybrids and Biomaterials(including bioinspired, biomimetic materials, biomineralisation, green materials, synthetic/biopolymer conjugates)

Bottom-up Approaches to Functional Nanomaterials and Nanocomposites(including sol-gel, functional nanoparticles and nanotubes, polymer-matrix nanocomposites)

Functional Porous Materials(including zeolites, MOFs, meso-porous materials, foams, hierarchically structured materials)
