Department of Water Technology and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Water Technology was established in 1953. In 1973 the teaching and research programme extended and the name was changed to Department of Water Technology and Environmental Engineering. It offers a five-year curriculum in water technology, hydrochemistry and hydrobiology. For each academic year, approx. 30 students are admitted to the teaching programme. There are also about 15-20 PhD. students in the department. They are involved in both research and pedagogical activities of the department.
