Technology offer: New method for the molecular detection of Tropheryma whipplei
Reference: TOES20130730003
Summary: A Spanish public research organization has developed a method for the detection of Tropheryma whipplei that is based on the multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique for the amplification of partial sequences of the gene nucleotidic sequence that codifies to different proteins, so it is the most effective and sensible way to detect this bacterium until now. The research organization looks for biotech or pharmaceutical companies for further development under a patent license agreement.
