All information concerning biotechnology in the Czech Republic in one place - that is the motto of the official Czech biotechnology portal www.gate2biotech.com, created by the South Moravian Innovation Centre (JIC) in cooperation with the governement agency Czech Invest. This unique portal is directed especially toward czech biotechnological companies, institutions, students, but also foreign bodies and the expert public.

The portal Gate2Biotech has both a Czech and an English version and makes searching and communication within the sector easier, both mutual between Czech organizations, and in the relationship to current or potential partners from abroad.

The website´s visitors will find a complete database of Czech biotechnology companies classified in accordance with their specializations, innovations on the field, demand and offer of cooperation or employment positions in the sector, an overview of projects currently under way or the connected international conferences, exhibitions and other significant happenings concerning the field. Companies doing business in this area may also easily find for example research facilities or other partners to help them solve technological problems that they are tackling. There is also a section dedicated to human resources, their developmnent, offer and demand.
