Reproduction, production
One of the main factors of success in animal breeding is to understand technology of reproduction correctly. Therefore, there are evaluated more characteristics (like fertility, pregnancy rate, frequency of difficult parturition) in every breed. There are e. g. a beef breed, when breeding using double musculing, have excellent lean meat yield, but the physiological problems within a parturition process are expected.
The research is specializing mainly on problematics of embryotransfer and genetic material handling in last years.
There are a lot of fields of animal husbandry which depend on reproduction, animal production among others.
