Development of bioprocessing techniques (fermentation, immobilisation of biocatalysts, quality control, etc)

Section summarizes companies and research institutes that not only develop fermentation and other bioprocess techniques, but also produce different products with using of such techniques. There is not difference among companies producing in big (tons) or small volume (grams or kilos). Significant portion of companies that produce via fermentation has also equipment and technology for downstream processing and purification. Similar is situation when company performs immobilization – very often performs also fermentation. From this reason both sections are coupled to one table (sections 4.2. and 4.3.). In these sections they are involved also companies supplying production facilities by substantial equipment for fermentation and other mentioned processes.

Concerning research institutes and universities – there is obviously range of activity so wide that was necessary to choose some departments their program fits to concrete section.
