Second Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry

Brno, Czech Republic (August 31 - September 04, 2008)

It is our pleasure to announce that Second Central European Symposium on Plasma Chemistry (CESPC) will be held in Brno, Czech Republic, August 31 – September 4, 2008. It will be organised by the Department of Physical Electronics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University and by Union of Czech Mathematiciants and Physicists.

The plasma technology has been expanding in many new areas from the fusion science to plasma applications for materials processing, environmental protection, and next generation display technique. In the next decade, the plasma science is expected to serve as a base for nano-, bio-, and environmental technologies, following the main EU priorities in research activity.

The Central European Symposium is focused on exchanging new results and ideas in the plasma applications for materials processing, surface modifications, medicine, environment protection and other fields related to the plasma chemistry. The aim of the symposium is to accelerate development of plasma-based technologies, dedicated in particular to environmental protection and improvement of quality of life.
