Supply Chain and Logistics Operator

Type of job: full-time

For well-established and strong biotechnological company I am looking for Supply Chain and Logistics Operator due to company´s further expansion. You do not need to be an expert in this field. You need to be fast lerner, attentive to detail, communicative, responsible. Company will give you training if necessary. More important than the experience in this field is the personality of candidate.

Job description and main responsibilities:

Supply and Operation Services department ensures uninterrupted investigational medicinal product supply to all clinical study patients. The Supply Chain and Logistics Operator is responsible for supporting all supply chain operations in the department and performing routine administrative tasks on daily basis to ensure communication with clinical sites and well-timed deliveries/collections according to their requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Basic understanding of clinical study protocol and its impact on investigational product distribution; knowledge of all processes of investigational medicinal product (IMP) supply chain
  • Support the supply and operation services department in routine activities such as placing manufacturing orders and ordering the storage, transportation and distribution of IMP
  • Control of scheduled visits to ensure correct application of IMP and continuous clinical supply; regular communication with clinics both in Czech and English
    Collection and archiving of relevant clinical data; work with electronic document management system
  • Ensure that inventories are being managed in a compliant manner; register new subjects and regularly update their database and control the completeness of data. Support the department by performing ad-hoc activities including, but not limited to: data collection, document management and execution of ad-hoc supply activities
  • Follow internal supply chain Standard Operating Procedures in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Work with internal IT system

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education – Secondary School/High School as a minimum.
  • Upper Intermediate or preferably advanced knowledge of English; other languages (in particular German or Polish) are a plus
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills. Solid communications skills (mainly written form) to deal effectively with a variety of personnel both internally and outside the company (mainly medical staff)
  • PC literate
    A plus but not a condition:
    o Working knowledge of current GCP and/or GMP regulations
    o Clinical supplies or clinical research experience or knowledge
    o Distribution/logistics experience (ideally pharmaceutics)
