Beijing, China (October 19-21, 2008)
International biofuels professionals will assemble to share information on new policy and industry technology, at the 4th World Biofuels Symposium. China provides a promising new market for the biofuels industry. Their fast growing economy has helped place them as the world’s third-largest ethanol producer, as they move from using corn and other food grains, to cassava as a feedstock.
Symposium attendees will have the opportunity interact with industry leaders to share information and resources between countries on the latest biofuels research and development. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour a cassava ethanol plant in Beihai and tour the Olympic venues in Beijing.
