Description:

The Association:
-is a voluntary, special interest organization with the legal person status
-is a recognized association of breeders
-maintains the Herd Book of Holstein Cattle (HB) for the whole Czech Republic
-defines the breeding goal and the breed's standard
-determines parameters for selection of breeding animals
-determines limits for registration of imported bulls in the HB
The Association is focused on activities helping Holstein breeders to improve their herds and to increase economic efficiency of their operations. The objective of the Association is also to secure interests of breeders in relationship with legislative and executive bodies of the agricultural sector in the CR.
