Summary: A Slovenian SME has developed a rapid cloning and gene manipulation platform for fast and efficient mobilization of large DNA fragments. The technology is based on one-step in vivo recombinational cloning. The technology allows for delivery of error-free DNA fragments and is used for cloning of large and complex gene clusters encoding bacterial secondary metabolites, or human immunoglobulins. Commercial agreement with technical assistance is sought by the company.
