Description:
The National Center for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cystic Fibrosis (CF Center) was established in 1997 at the University Hospital Motol based on the Czech Government decree from September 8th, 1993, # 493, Section 3, § 3i. The CF Center was formed from closely cooperating parts of the 2. Pediatric Clinic of the 2. School of Medicine, Charles University, Prague and from the specialized molecular genetic laboratory of IBMG.
Our molecular genetic laboratory performs CFTR gene mutation detection in patients, their families and their close relatives.
