Technology offer: Organ printing in regenerative medicine
Reference: TODE20130828002
Summary: A German university hospital offers a new technology for 3D-printing of cell-laden hydrogels submerged in a hydrophobic high-density fluid. This invention works with non-miscible solvents of high density, thus overcoming problems of conventional methods that can often only print small constructs. Applications are in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Licensees are sought.
