Postdoc researcher in the field of plant molecular biology
Type of job: full-time
Specific experimental and theoretical work required:
- isolation and purification of small RNA and micro RNA from generative and vegetative plant tissues
- quantitative analysis of gene expression using RT qPCR, Southern and Northern blot analyses using molecular hybridization with 32P dCTP isotop
- participation on gene cloning and on preparation of plant expression vectors and handling with A. tumefaciens
- participation on bioinformatic analysis of transcriptome profiling from NGS datasets
- laboratory support including isotop lab handling 32P dCTP, ordering of materials, equipment maintenance
- participation on preparation of manucripts and grant proposals
- participation on seminars and literature work
Requirements:
- PhD in plant biology
- experience in publishing papers in IF journals
