qPCR Experience® Boot Camp, Piran, Slovenia, 11.-14. September 2012

qPCR Experience Boot camp will focus on real-time PCR gene expression and microorganism detection but will also cover qPCR's other applications such as single cell qPCR, digital PCR and will include extensive practical sessions, a troubleshooting* section and lectures by Dr. Stephen A. Bustin.

The hands-on 4-day Boot Camp is suitable also for qPCR beginners and will cover review of qPCR theory, practical guidance on sample preparation and RNA quality control, amplicon design, quality assurance as well as hands-on lab and data analysis sessions. Instructors, all experienced researchers and users of qPCR technology, will also be available for discussions. Boot Camp will also.

The workshop is organised in collaboration with National Institute of Biology. The lectures and dry-lab hands-on sessions will take place at the Marine Biological Station (MBS) in Piran, situated directly on the Mediterranean coast. The wet-lab sessions will take place in ISO accredited laboratories of National Institute of Biology in Ljubljana which include state-of-the-art qPCR centre.
