Research Assistant

Job description:

We are expanding our team and have open positions for qualified Technical Research Assistants and Molecular Biologists in different fields of biotechnological laboratory work, including molecular biology and protein biochemistry, ranging from cloning of genes for recombinant protein expression, transformation of bacterial, yeast or mammalian cells, cell culture, protein purification and protein analytics.
Responsibilities include the implementation and documentation of dedicated experiments according to detailed protocols and standard operating procedures, as well as contribution to general maintenance of laboratories and equipment.
We are organized in teams of three to five persons, supervised and coordinated by experienced scientists in close interaction and permanent consultation. Our team is international, written documents like experimental protocols and records are in English language.

Our Requirements:

• Qualification as Biological/Medical assistants or Bachelor in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field
• Experience in PCR, cloning, cell culture, protein purification, protein analytics or other molecular biology techniques is a plus
• Sense of responsibility in regard to experimental work, the team and the mission of AbCheck
• Adaptivity to language requirements
