Paris, France (November 22, 2005)
The Day of the Biotech Entrepreneur focuses on the issues surrounding the creation and development of biotech companies. Its goal is to approach the issues the researchers and managers are confronted with in a pragmatic and interactive way. Plenary sessions dealing with general themes such as “The French biotech industry – lagging behind or just different?“ or “Why are European stock-markets so wary of biotechs?“, are scheduled alternately with round tables enabling high quality debates and a real exchange of expertise. This year’s conference is innovating once again with the introduction of round table discussions addressing biotech entrepreneurs’ main issues: the business model, financing, the team and the exit of the venture capitalists.
