Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources

The Faculty of Agrobiology, Food and Natural Resources was established concurrently with the independent University of Agriculture in 1952, and has followed successfully the long tradition of teaching agricultural sciences at the then Czech Technical University in Prague. Recently, the Faculty succeeded in responding to the changing situation in Czech agriculture, and its educational and research activities have been recently focused not only at the farming sector but even at horticulture, farm produce quality and processing, rural development and care of natural resources, including clearly focused and reasonable waste management.
